This past weekend in Jackson Heights, we hosted our first in a series of Back to School events across our offices.

You can help a student and their families feel a little more prepared to take on this new school year by donating $25 or more!

Many families in our communities continue to struggle to afford the school supplies their children need. This can harm their ability to learn, as school supplies allow students to participate in class activities fully.

Thanks to the support of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Senator Jessica Ramos, Assemblymembers Catalina Cruz and Jessica González-Rojas, various community organizations, agencies, and allies like you, we provided families with nearly 500 backpacks stocked with supplies and the necessary resources as they prepare for the start of a new school year.
